  • Remove unsightly Spider Veins on legs
  • Reduce redness by removing broken capillaries on cheek, nose and chin

Are you tired of worrying about the unsightly spider veins on your legs? Do you suffer from constant redness on your cheeks and nose from tiny broken capillaries? Did you know that you can now remove spider veins and broken capillaries in less than 20 minutes with NO downtime! Laser Vein Therapy is the most commonly used and most widely recommended treatment for spider veins. A special light laser is used to pass through the skin and virtually erase vascular lesions and spider veins with no incisions or injections! The laser is used to treat leg veins, reddish-purple spider veins, and facial veins around the nose, chin and cheeks.

FAQ's

How does the laser treatment work?

The laser creates a high-intensity beam of light that penetrates deep into the skin's tissue, where it targets a controlled amount of heat to the blood vessels. The blood is then co-agulated in the vessel, thus stopping the vessels normal flow. This "blockage"  causes the vessel to shut down and the blood is forced to flow through surrounding vessels, reducing the reddish-purplish appearance of spider veins.

Does the treatment hurt?

Some patients compare the sensation of the laser to a snapping of a heated rubber band on the skin. The discomfort is not long lasting and will be reduced by a machine that blasts cool air onto the area being treated. It is not uncommon to use a topical anesthetic prior to treatment to reduce any discomfort.

How many treatments will I need?

The number of treatments required depends on the severity of the area being treated. Typically, only two to three treatments are necessary to provide the results desired.

How can I prepare for treatment?

You should come in to each of your sessions with clean, dry skin. Be sure to remove any creams, oils, make-up or tanning products prior to treatment. If you have had a history of herpes simplex virus and are scheduled for facial vein treatment, a prophylactic antiviral therapy may be prescribed. The area intended for treatment should not be exposed to any sunlight or tanning booth for 14 days prior to laser treatment.

What can I expect after treatment?

Some sweeling and redness surrounding the areas treated should be expected immediately following treatment. This redness will resolve within a few hours. The color of the larger veins will become a dark blue to black and may remain that color for several weeks. Once the dark color disappates, the veins will no longer be visible.
